Something looks a little funny

I found this information on a site reviewing Dr. Prison and unbelievably enough Dr. horsepower and dr. prison are the same guys trying to do both companies. See below.

Dr. Prison is the first site we are reviewing. Part of our review is finding out if the service provided makes any sense for a consumer. We also investigate whether the service is legitimate as there are many people out there more than willing to steal another persons money.

This post will be broken into Overview, Ownership, management and how it is all put together.

Overview:
Dr. Prison seems to be a web of alliances all aimed at feeding a network of businesses. While that is not unusual; what is suspect is that all of these businesses seemed to be owned by the same group. In this case we have uncovered that Dr. Prison (www.drprison.com), Presumed Innocent (www.presumedinnocent.com), and Keys for living (www.keysforliving.com) are all managed and/or owned by the same people and Steve Scholl is in the center of them all.

Dr Prison is a for fee service that helps a person cope with the new experience of being incarcerated. Presumed Innocent is a magazine that sells advertising to lawyers and bondsman and delivers content for the newly arrested. Keys for living is kind of a half-way house that will help people get on their feet once they get out of jail.

The only thing they dont have is a bail bond company, or do they?

Management:
How do I know that Steve is smack dab in the center of these companies? If you call the phone number of Dr. Prison; you get Steve Scholl's voice. If you call the number of Keys for living; you get Steve Scholl's voice. Presumed Innocent has the exact same phone number of Dr. Prison, 877-2-drprison. I tried calling all of these numbers and got a voicemail every single time. So much for getting help when you need it the most.

How does Steve manage all these companies and Dr. Horsepower at the same time? I guess the Doctor is IN; or is he?

On the Dr. Prison site I found that not a single member of their so called "Team" has any degrees in medical or mental health fields. Why is that? How can you claim to be a professional in a certain area unless you have had some training? Now if it turned out that Steve had done some hard time, well, that would be a different matter but, as of now nobody at their company seems to be claiming that they have actually "been on the inside".

I found this curious and thought maybe I was missing something. Who actually owns these companies? I looked at the domain names and found that every single one of them seemed to be owned by Steve Jones of www.nametrader.com. I also found out that nametrader owns about 1,400 domain names and even owns Jim McCormick's website.

That didnt add up; until I looked at the staff at Dr Prison and found out that he was one of the staff members. What was a domain name hawk doing providing assistance to the newly arrested? And then the name above gave the picture some color. The name was Sandra Jones, his mother and wife of Steve Scholl.

So Dad, mom and Steve Jr. the domain name trader all working diligently together to help people cope with being arrested. I wonder why they dont answer the phone? This blogger also wonders what Steve is doing in the energy drink business.

How it seems to work:
The magazine will lead you to a list of lawyers and bond companies. Those same companies will then refer you to Dr. Prison for the help you desperately need (assuming this is the first time you have been arrested), Dr. Prison will then provide you a consultation at $400-$1,200 dollars. You get some advice and when you get out of jail; you are more than welcome to spend more of your hard earned money at the halfway house keys to living.

That sounds about right---now in our next discussion we will be looking at what kind of advice a group of people like this can actually provide you and if it is information easily found on the internet.

Zero communication

This blogger has learned that an email was sent to the founders Steve Scholl AKA Dr. Prison and Jim McCormick. The blogger learned that he has also sent text's to both men-----at this time neither Steve, Jim or Dr Prison has responded to address any issues.

I will keep updating this with information both from prior meetings as well as future emails/communication. I am not sure why these guys are so quick to bash their CEO candidate and brand him a liar while they tell untruths and spread false rumors.

nasty email

Dr. Horsepower featuring Dr. Prison's very own Steve Scholl and Jim McCormick sent a very nasty email to their on again--off again CEO. The email was sent after the prospective CEO asked too many questions in a meeting held almost a month ago.

The questions were around why Dr. Horsepower was paying a high ranking mexican official $2,500 a month. He also questioned the legality of paying investors dividends when there was almost no revenue. He said that it looks very much like a ponzi scheme using new investors money to pay old investors dividends. Those questions were never answered satisfactorily.

Here is an excerpt from the email sent may8 2009.

I read your Web Blog the other day and I must say it is very impressive. However, your Blog is full of lies.

We never made you an offer. We have asked you repeatedly to define your plan for the Company’s direction. We are still waiting for your plan. You want advance payment but the fact is that no one on earth would pay you in advance until they see what you can do.We all agreed that you are administrative; a behind the scenes guy who has nothing to do with image. Jim says that you don’t fit the DrHorsepower image because of your height. He says many diseases can be cured but small man syndrome is not one of them.I hope your comments and Blog are a misunderstanding and not an overblown sense of your self worth.

Steve Scholl
president
Dr. Horsepower
